Assessment includes a theory paper\, presentation\, and practical demonstration to ensure participants are fully qualified to train others safely and effectively. \nMore About The CourseAbout The VenuePlease note: This course was previously run at our Leeds venue\, but due to unforeseen circumstances we’ve relocated to a new home – not too far away in Elland\, just outside of Halifax.Our new venue is the Simply Elland Training Room – a purpose-built space run by Simply Moving & Sleeping\, specialists in disability equipment and moving & handling. \nThe room is comprehensively equipped with Guldmann ceiling track hoists\, a full range of slings\, Guldmann Gantry\, specialist bathing and changing equipment\, and a full-size bed – giving delegates hands-on experience with professional-grade kit in a realistic training environment. \nWith an 80″ presentation screen\, free wi-fi\, a breakout area\, and a kitchen on site\, the venue has everything you need for a comfortable day’s training. It’s fully accessible via lift\, with on-site parking (including EV charging) and additional on-street parking nearby. \nThe course is available in-person at our training venues in Elland (near Halifax)\, or you can arrange in-house training at your venue (learn more) – both options leading to the same IOSH-accredited certification. Due to the nature of the training\, requiring props and demonstrations\, Patient Moving & Handling Training Courses are not suitable for Zoom delivery.
