Fit4Work is the business of Chartered Physiotherapist, and trusted provider of Workplace Health and Safety Training, Angela Hinton, MCSP, HPC.
After qualifying as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1996, Angela went on to specialise in musculoskeletal injuries at the Leeds General Infirmary.
After 8 years of gaining valuable experience in rehabilitating patients with musculoskeletal conditions, she progressed to a senior role at the Nuffield Hospital in Harrogate. It was here that she took on extra health and safety responsibilities and her interest in health and safety really developed.
After gaining an assortment of recognised health and safety and teaching qualifications, Angela is now the Director of Fit4Work, delivering comprehensive Manual Handling, People Moving & Handling and Train the Trainer Courses.
In 2019, Fit4Work’s DSE Assessor Training Course was accredited by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
Angela has over a decade’s experience of conducting DSE Workstation Assessments to help large organisations, like the UK Border Force, BBC and HMRC, comply with health and safety regulations and keep their employees safe at work.
As well as helping companies to protect their workforce, Angela owns a physiotherapy practise in Bramhope, Leeds, and teaches Pilates classes in Bramhope, Horsforth, Otley and Cookridge. She has also lectured at Leeds Trinity University, teaching students how to manage knee injuries and back pain.
Angela is passionate about employee well-being, promoting workplace health and safety training, and is committed to staying up-to-date on health and safety matters by attending regular IOSH meetings and relevant health and safety courses.
