Training That Comes to You

In-house training is the most practical and cost-effective way to upskill your team when you have multiple staff to train, specific workplace risks to address, or simply want to avoid the disruption of off-site attendance.

Fit4Work’s in-house courses are led by an experienced Chartered Physiotherapist and carry the same IOSH-approved accreditation as our open and online programmes. Every booking is discussed and confirmed in advance, so the training fits your workplace – not the other way around.

DSE Assessments (In-House)

Fit4Work can visit your workplace to carry out individual workstation assessments for your employees. Ideal for office environments, manufacturing settings, and any organisation with a duty to conduct DSE risk assessments under current UK regulations.

Each assessment is conducted by a qualified Physiotherapist and followed up with a written DSE Assessment Report documenting findings, recommendations, and confirmation of compliance.

In-House DSE Assessor Training

Equip your own team members with the knowledge and IOSH-approved certification to carry out professional DSE assessments across your organisation. This full-day course is delivered at your premises by an expert trainer, making it the most efficient way to upskill multiple assessors in one session.

Participants leave with the skills to identify risks, assess workstations confidently, and meet your legal obligations under the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992.

In-House Manual Handling Training

Practical, relevant manual handling training delivered on your site – so your team learn in the environment where they actually work. Fit4Work’s in-house Manual Handling Awareness course covers risk assessment, correct technique, and injury prevention, all contextualised to the tasks and loads specific to your workplace.

Particularly effective for warehousing, construction, logistics, healthcare, and any sector involving regular physical handling activities.

In-House Manual Handling Train the Trainer

Build long-term in-house training capability with Fit4Work’s IOSH-approved Manual Handling Train the Trainer course.

This two-day programme qualifies your nominated staff to design and deliver compliant manual handling training internally – reducing your reliance on external providers and keeping your workforce skilled and compliant year after year.

Patient Moving & Handling Training – Please Note

Patient Moving & Handling Training involves specialist equipment and practical props that are essential to safe and effective delivery. For this reason, in-house delivery is not always possible – it depends on the venue and facilities available.

If you’re interested in Patient Moving & Handling Training at your location, please contact Fit4Work directly to discuss whether in-house delivery is feasible.

Where it isn’t, we can recommend suitable alternatives, including open courses and Zoom-based options.
