Case Study Details

The IOSH Approved DSE Assessor Course was conducted via Zoom for two individuals from Spekrik, one in the UK and the other in New York. Despite the time difference, the participant in New York, who had to start the course at 4 am, displayed remarkable dedication and enthusiasm. Her commitment was evident in her cheerful engagement, and we ensured she received her training manual before the course commenced.

Although the two delegates worked on opposite sides of the world, their training needs were identical: proper chair setup, understanding how to achieve the correct sitting posture, and knowledge about the spine and how a slumped posture leads to musculoskeletal issues.

What was covered in the training

Below is the complete list of areas covered in this comprehensive IOSH-approved DSE Training Course. The delegates successfully completed their two end-of-course assessments: a multi-format question paper and a practical assessment. A minimum of sixty percent was required on both assessments.
