Are the DSE Regulations Out of Date?
The Display Screen Equipment Regulations were introduced in 1992, when most people worked on a single desktop computer in a fixed office workstation. Today we work on laptops, tablets, and smartphones - often from home, cafés, trains, or shared offices. The regulations still apply, but they were written for a completely different world of work. This raises an important question: are they still fit for purpose in the modern workplace?
