These Terms & Conditions govern all course bookings made with Fit4Work. By booking or attending a course, you agree to the following terms.
1. About Us
Fit4Work is owned and operated by: Angela Hinton Fit4Work, 25 Spring Moor Lodge Spring Lane, Kearby Wetherby LS22 4DA
2. Using Our Website
- The content on this website is provided for general informational purposes only and may be updated or changed without notice.
- Fit4Work strives to ensure that all information is accurate and up to date; however, errors or omissions may occasionally occur.
- You agree not to use this website for unlawful purposes or in any way that could damage or impair the site.
- All text, images, course materials, and graphics are owned by or licensed to Fit4Work. You may not reproduce or distribute them without permission.
3. Booking & Payment
- Course bookings are made online via the Fit4Work website or by written agreement.
- A booking is confirmed once payment has been received in full unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe or PayPal. Fit4Work does not store or access your payment details.
- Joining instructions, venue details, and course materials will be provided once booking is confirmed.4. Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy (Effective from November 2025)
Fit4Work aims to offer fair and transparent cancellation terms for all training bookings. Our policy ensures that reasonable notice is provided to allow us to release venue space and manage course viability effectively.
Delegate Cancellations
If you need to cancel your place on a course, please inform Fit4Work in writing as soon as possible. The following refund structure applies:

Course Cancellations by Fit4Work
Fit4Work reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course without penalty if:
- Unforeseen circumstances arise, or
- The delegate numbers are insufficient to run the course viably.
In such cases, delegates will be offered:
- a full refund, or
- a transfer to another course date within 6 months.
Fit4Work will not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the cancellation or rescheduling of a course.
5. Transfers & Substitutions
- Delegates may transfer to another course date once, free of charge, if sufficient notice is given (5 weeks or more).
- If less than 5 weeks’ notice is given, transfers may be permitted at Fit4Work’s discretion.
- A named substitute may attend in your place if you cannot attend, provided Fit4Work is notified in advance.
6. Course Certificates
- Certificates are issued upon successful completion of the course, including attendance and assessment requirements where applicable.
- IOSH-accredited courses incur an additional certification fee (currently £28.60 per delegate).
- Replacement certificates may be reissued on request at an administrative cost.
7. Course Content & Assessment
- Delegates must participate fully in both theory and practical sessions.
- Assessments are used to ensure understanding and competence.
- A minimum pass mark of 60% is required for IOSH-accredited courses.
- Fit4Work reserves the right to withhold certification if the assessment criteria are not met.
8. Delegate Conduct
- Delegates are expected to behave professionally and respectfully at all times.
- Fit4Work reserves the right to remove any delegate who behaves inappropriately or disruptively.
- In such cases, no refund will be provided.
9. Liability
- Fit4Work takes every reasonable step to ensure the safety and quality of its courses.
- Fit4Work is not liable for any personal belongings lost or damaged while attending a course.
- Fit4Work shall not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including travel or accommodation costs, arising from cancellation or changes to a course.
10. Data Protection & Privacy
- Personal data collected during booking will be used only for course administration, certification, and compliance purposes.
- Data is stored securely and in accordance with UK GDPR regulations. See our privacy policy for more information.
- Fit4Work does not share personal information with third parties, except where required by accrediting bodies such as IOSH.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business needs, or legal requirements.
The latest version will always be published on this website, and the date at the top of the page will show when it was last updated.
